COSWALL App Guide
To connect and control COSWALL smart switches and related smart devices, official mobile applications are required. These apps allow you to add devices, manage them remotely, set schedules, configure scenes, and control devices by voice.
Supported Applications
Tuya Smart / Smart Life
A universal smart home platform widely used for Wi-Fi and Zigbee smart devices. It provides stable remote control, automation, and voice assistant integration.

Device Compatibility Notes
- All COSWALL Zigbee switches must be used with a Tuya Zigbee Gateway
(The gateway is not included and must be purchased separately) - Zigbee switches require a Neutral Wire for correct and stable operation
- COSWALL power sockets are traditional (non-smart)
However, when wired together with a Zigbee switch from the back side, the switch can control the socket, making it function as a smart-controlled power outlet - COSWALL Zigbee switches support 1-key, 2-key, 3-key, 4-key, and 4-2 key configurations
- Switch keys are rebound type, near-silent, and work as standard ON / OFF switches
(They cannot be used as momentary contact or doorbell switches)
How to Connect Your COSWALL Device
- Install the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on your smartphone
- Create an account or log in
- Ensure your Zigbee Gateway is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network
- Make sure your Wi-Fi operates on 2.4 GHz
- Add the Zigbee switch in the app and follow the on-screen instructions
- After pairing, you can control the device manually, via the app, or by voice
Indicator Light Status
- Before pairing: the switch backlight flashes blue
- After pairing:
- OFF state → yellow backlight (can be disabled in the app)
- ON state → white backlight
Smart Features Available in App
- Remote ON / OFF control
- Countdown timers and schedules
- Weekly circulation programs
- Relay status settings:
- OFF
- ON
- Remember last status
- Scene control without wiring, allowing multiple switches to control the same device through app automation
- Voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant
Customization Options
Default switch icons include lamp symbols and indicator dots.
Custom icons, text, numbers, or no icons can be requested.
